Der Baltasar Gracian Vendimia Seleccionada, aus 75-jährigen Garnacha - Reben erzeugt, ist für Parker eine der größten Entdeckungen seiner Karriere. Ein wahres Preis-/Leistungswunder !!! (91 P /Jg. 2002) Wine Advocate #147 (Jun 2003) - Robert Parker - 91 points - Drink 2003-2007 This may be the greatest discovery of my 25-year career ! This old vineyard, which previously sold its entire production to a cooperative, has produced custom bottlings for importer Eric Solomon. The 2002 Garnacha is fashioned from 75-year old Grenache vines planted on pure slate. Sixty percent was aged in tank, and 40% in neutral wood foudres. There are 20,000 cases of this offering, which may be the greatest wine value I have ever tasted. Deep ruby/purple-colored, with a gorgeous nose of kirsch liqueur intermixed with melted licorice and white flowers, this deep, medium to full-bodied, fruit-driven, sumptuously-textured 2002 is loaded. It should drink well for 3-4 years, possibly longer.
Auf dem US-Markt heißt der Wein "Las Rocas de San Alejandro". Rebsorten: Garnacha: 100 %
