The white 2023 Artigas Blanc was produced with 50% Garnacha Blanca, 30% Macabeo and 20% Pedro Ximénez fermented and matured in barriques, concrete and foudre (for the PX). The whites seem to have changed; they were harvested earlier and achieved lower alcohol (13.5% in this case) and keep good freshness, reflected by a pH of 3.3 here. It has notes of waxy apples and a creamy touch, round and sensual, balanced and fresh. 5,500 bottles produced.
