The entry-level red is the 2024 Ca'n Verdura Negre, which I found to be more rustic and with a darker profile than the rest of the reds. It was produced with a blend of Mantonegro, Syrah, Callet, Merlot and Monastrell vinified by plot and matured in stainless steel (65%) and used 500-liter barrels (35%) for five months. It has 13% alcohol and a pH of 3.6, with abundant, slightly dusty tannins that call for food. 25,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in April and May 2025.
