Erzeugt aus den ältesten und besten Rebstöcken und konzeptionell ein Langläufer, der sich über die Jahre spürbar entwickeln wird, ist es unserer Meinung nach einer der überzeugendsten Weine ganz Spaniens. Diesen Wein lohnt es zu lagern, aber trinkt sich heute auch schon recht schön.

The spectacular 2000 Vendimia Seleccionada is one of the finest wines of the vintage. A dense ruby/purple color is followed by glorious aromas of smoked herbs interwoven with notions of graphite, blackberries, creme de cassis, and cedar. Expansive, rich, full-bodied, lush flavors are well-defined as well as impressively intense and concentrated. This deep, compelling 2000 is just beginning to strut its stuff, and should age nicely for 10-12 years.

Powerful yet polished, this international-style beauty shows rich, ripe blackberry and cassis flavors, with lots of chocolate oak and accents of cinnamon, licorice and caraway. It has a silky texture, but there's plenty of grip, and floral and spicy notes linger on the finish. Drink now through 2012. 2,000 cases made.
